Heading Down to San Antonio Thursday...
Well, I haven't been real good about blogging, as you will know.
It was really good weekend. I played golf on Saturday and Monday. I wasn't able to score well, but I sure was coming off the tee well. I finally did it... I went out and bought a new driver. I got the Cleveland 460 Launcher. It does just that. I have been hitting about 25o yards, pretty much straight with it. Of course, the rest of my game has gone to hell in a hand basket.... but the driver is working.
Anyway, back to the title of this post. Yep... my birthday present to me is a trip to San Antonio to golf & drink with my friend AssClown. We used to golf together all the time. Then he moved down there about 2 years ago. He came up last year & I kicked the crap outta him by 14 strokes... but he can play year round... so I likely will get my ass kicked this weekend.
I leave here Thursday morning & arrive about 1:30 PM. We are going to golf that afternoon, Friday & Saturday. I fly back Sunday. I expect there will be eating, drinking & possibly strip clubs to fill in the gaps...
BTW... 41 years old on Thursday May 31...

Happy Birthday, man . . . sounds like a great present.
I'll have to check that driver out, since I can't hit mine (Tommy Armour Great Scot) to save my life. Then again, I've gotten pretty used to hitting a 3-iron off the tee, and have even driven some short par 4 greens with my 3 wood, and THAT'S definitely worth the price of admission, let me tell you, lol.
Post some pics when you get back . . . most beautiful hole, shittiest lie, kicking back on the 19th hole, or in one of the clubs . . . have a blast.
